No Dinner Coma

The players are back in action with full bellies, and it seems like there's no time to be wasted. "All in and a call," has already been heard at least a dozen times around the Amazon Room in just about seven minutes of action.

Schneider Steamrolls Brunson

We must have missed something at Pam Brunson's table just after the players got back from dinner break. She raised her button to 2,000, then called a reraise to 7,400 from small blind Tom "DonkeyBomber" Schneider. Schneider bet 9,000 on a flop of {5-Clubs} {K-Hearts} {6-Diamonds}.

"Are you steaming?" Brunson asked. "I have a hand."

Schneider made no response. He was awarded the pot when Brunson laid down her hand. His count is about 140,000, while Brunson has about 57,000.

Matusow Just Can't Catch a Break

Since it seems likely that we may not have the privilege of Mike "the Mouth" Matusow's table talk much longer, we stationed a reporter at his table to see what the talkative Matusow might have to say after dinner.

"14 hours of play and I've won two pots at showdown," Matusow complained to Greg "FBT" Mueller. "And one of 'em was a limped pot that I won with three-four. Now that's impressive."

Mueller laughed.

"I'm serious," continued Matusow. "Two people limped. I was in the big blind and it checked the whole way down. The board was 7-10-J-3-5 and I won with three-four."

Nobody else at Matusow's table is shedding many tears that his stack contains only 10,600 remaining chips.

Vitaly Lunkin vs. Corwin Cole

From under the gun, Vitaly Lunkin raised to 2,200 and received three callers. The flop came {5-Clubs} {5-Spades} {3-Spades} and Corwin Cole led out for 5,400 from the small blind. Lunkin was the lone caller.

The turn was the {Q-Diamonds} and both players checked.

The river brought the {7-Spades} and after a check from Cole. Lunkin bet 12,000 and took down the pot.

Vitaly Lunkin - 138,000
Corwin Cole - 110,000

Everybody Loves Aces

Brad Garrett opened for 1,600 from middle position, the small blind called and the big blind moved all in for 19,700. Garrett made the call and the small blind folded.

Garrett {A-Hearts} {A-Diamonds}
Big Blind {7-Hearts} {7-Diamonds}

Garrett's aces held on the {6-Clubs} {5-Clubs} {3-Clubs} {Q-Hearts} {8-Clubs} board and he took down the pot, eliminating the big blind. He's currently up to 78,000 in chips.

Mueller Knocks an Opponent Out

Greg "FBT" Mueller made it 2,200 to play and action folded to the button, who moved all in for 10,200. When the small blind called, Mueller came along for the ride.

The small blind check-folded when Mueller bet 10,000 on a flop of {5-Spades}{4-Spades}{K-Hearts} and we went heads up to the final two streets.

Mueller: {8-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Button: {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

When the board finished {J-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}, Mueller paired on the river and took the pot. He's up to 275,000.
