Solomon Surrenders

Jarred Solomon put the last of his chips into the pot after a raise from Jesper Hougaard.

Hougaard called the additional few thousand to be in a race holding {J-Spades}{10-Clubs} to Solomon's {3-Spades}{3-Clubs}.

The board ran out {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} to see Hougaard send Solomon to the rail as he climbed to 385,000 in chips.

Raymond Rahme Relegated to the Rail

PokerStars Team Pro Raymond Rahme
PokerStars Team Pro Raymond Rahme
Raymond Rahme has been knocked out of the event after pushing with {10-Hearts} {10-Clubs} against an UTG raise and getting immediately called by {A-Clubs} {A-Diamonds}. A board of {A-Hearts} {9-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} {6-Spades} {6-Clubs} ensured that Rahme would've have lost all his chips in this pot at whatever the stage of the tournament.

Roux the Day

Anthony Roux is down to 108,000 after betting hard on the {8-Clubs} {6-Clubs} {2-Spades} flop and {7-Clubs} turn and getting called by one opponent both times. They both checked the {2-Hearts} river, and Roux flipped {5-Clubs} {5-Hearts}, but couldn't beat his opponent's {10-Clubs} {10-Spades}.

Bilzerian's Stack Continues a Downward Spiral

Dan Bilzerian started the day near the top of the counts. But with Jamie Brown on his table commanding and controlling the action, it's been mostly downhill for Bilzerian throughout the day.

We caught Bilzerian's latest hand on a flop of {5-Spades} {3-Clubs} {4-Clubs}. He called the all in of a short-stacked player for 35,900. Bilzerian's {7-Spades} {5-Clubs} was drawing against his opponent's pocket aces, {A-Spades} {A-Diamonds}. With the ESPN cameras in place, dealer Darryl burned and turned the {Q-Hearts}.

"That's not a good card," deadpanned Bilzerian. The dealer had to wait for a signal from the floor that the camera crews were ready to go. "Cmon, Darryl, the suspense here is killing me."

With the camera crews finally ready, Darryl produced the {K-Diamonds} as the river card. That river obligated Bilzerian to double up his opponent, dropping his stack to 123,000 in the process.

"I'm Here to Win!"

Weeee!
Weeee!
As mentioned before, Phil Hellmuth has made his way into the blue section here in the Amazon room. He hasn't wasted any time taking control of the table.

After "donking off 100,000" to Josh Arieh while "drawing dead" according to Hellmuth, he punished four limpers by raising to 20,000 total. Everyone folded and Hellmuth showed {Q-Clubs} {5-Hearts}, "I'm here to win," he announced.

A few hands later, Hellmuth called a 5,000 chip raise from the cut-off. The flop fell {8-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} {5-Spades}. The original raiser led out 11,000, Hellmuth raised to 24,000 total. "I'll show ya buddy," he said after the raise. The raiser folded and Hellmuth showed {4-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} for just a gutshot straight draw.

The very next hand after that, Hellmuth raised it up to 5,000. The whole table folded and he showed the {3-Diamonds} {5-Clubs}.

"Ok, that's my last bluff."

Andy Black strolled by right after and added, "Interesting table."

"I just bluffed four hands in a row after I donked off 100,000 to Josh (Arieh) drawing dead," replied Hellmuth

Will he tighten back up? Who can say, but stick around and we'll see! Hellmuth currently has 320,000 in chips.

Boyd Slips

With a board reading {8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}, Dutch Boyd found himself all in holding {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} against an opponent's {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

The river fell the {4-Clubs} and Boyd doubled his opponent up while slipping to 32,000 in chips.

Mizzi Scoops One Up

Phil Ivey opened the action with a raise to 5,500. The player in the next seat, Saar Wilf, called and then David "Devilfish" Ulliott called from the hijack seat. Action folded all the way around to Sorel Mizzi in the big blind. He put in a reraise to 23,000 and Ivey folded.

Wilf stayed in the hand, as did Ulliott. The three players saw the flop come down {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} {2-Diamonds} and Mizzi fired a continuation bet of 36,000. Wilf called and then Ulliott mucked.

The turn brought the {Q-Spades} and Mizzi checked. Wilf checked behind.

The river was the {K-Spades}. Mizzi took his time and then fired out a bet totaling 70,000 chips. His opponent folded right away and as the pot was pushed towards him, Mizzi showed one card: the {6-Spades}.

Plens' Tens

Jonathan "therookieQQ9" Plens started the action with an under-the-gun raise, and the betting came around to the blinds. The small blind called before the big blind moved all in for 35,000. Plens then moved all in for just over 50,000 which was enough to get the small blind out of the way.

Showdown
Plens: {10-Diamonds} {10-Clubs}
Opponent: {8-Diamonds} {8-Spades}

The board ran dry, coming {6-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {6-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} to hold Plens' overpair. He's earned himself a knockout, chipping up to 90,000 in the process.

Racener Takes a Nice Pot

On a board of {9-Spades} {6-Spades} {4-Diamonds} {K-Hearts} {3-Spades} and with over 40,000 in the pot, a player in middle position checked and John Racener bet 35,000, leaving himself with only 13,500 behind.

His opponent thought for a full minute before giving up his hand. With the pot, John Racener is up to 95,000.

Scott Neuman Slips

Scott Neuman
Scott Neuman
On a flop of {A-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds}, the small blind led out for 8,800 and Scott Neuman quickly called. The turn came the {5-Clubs} and the small blind led again, this time for 22,000. Again Neuman snap-called. The small blind moved all in when the {10-Hearts} hit the river, but Neuman gave up his hand after a short think. He's now down to about 80,000.
