Gabe Walls
Gabe Walls
On a flop of {K-Clubs} {10-Clubs} {2-Spades}, Dieter Albrecht led out for 35,000, Jamin Stokes flat-called from middle position and Gabe Walls raised to 200,000 from late position. Albrecht reraised all in, and Stokes got out of the way.

Albrecht {K-Spades} {J-Hearts}
Walls {K-Diamonds} {10-Hearts}

Walls was well in the lead with top two pair, Albrecht needed to catch a jack to survive. The turn was the {4-Hearts}, the river was the {4-Clubs} and Albrecht was eliminated while Walls raked in the massive pot, sending his stack up to 2,150,000.

Thuy Doan Done

A very short-stacked Thuy Doan was eliminated holding {A-Hearts} {2-Hearts}, tangled up in a pot with Hans Hein and Richard Harington. The board came out {6-Diamonds} {5-Spades} {3-Clubs} {4-Spades} {4-Diamonds}. Harrington tabled {K-Hearts} {K-Clubs}, which Doan could beat. However, Hein showed {3-Diamonds} {3-Hearts}, and his full boat is good enough to send Doan packing.

Sayonnara, Sorel
Sorel Mizzi got the remainder of his stack in before the flop holding {A-?} {J-Clubs} and Scott Cook looked him up holding {9-Spades} {9-Diamonds}.

Cook hit a set on the {9-Clubs} {6-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} flop and Mizzi couldn't catch up, the turn falling the {K-Clubs} and the river the {10-Hearts} to send him to the rail.

After the hand, Cook was up to 811,000.
