Kennedy Two Outs McGlone

Brian Kennedy was all in for 75,000 from the small blind with {7-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} against Tony McGlone in early position. McGlone held two tens -- {10-Clubs} {10-Diamonds}.

The flop was clean with the {J-Diamonds} {9-Clubs} {9-Spades}. The turn brought the {7-Hearts} and nailed Kennedy. He only needed to dodge the river now and did so when the {Q-Spades} hit the felt.

Kennedy was able to double up to 160,000 while McGlone dropped to 150,000.

Scott Buller Cracks ElkY's Aces with Kings

Scott Buller was all in before the flop for 249,000 with {K-Spades} {K-Diamonds} facing the {A-Hearts} {A-Clubs} of Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier.

The flop came {Q-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} keeping ElkY's aces safe, however, the {K-Clubs} on the turn gace Buller a set. ElkY would need to catch a ace or jack to win the pot.'

The river brought the {2-Diamonds} allowing Buller to double through ElkY to double up.

Scott Buller - 518,000
Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier - 1,000,000

CK Hua Busto

Scott Baumstein pushed with {9-Spades} {8-Spades} and C.K. Hua called all in with {A-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts}. Daryl Jace flashed {A-Spades} {10-Spades}, but passed, and they were on their backs.

Board: {K-Spades} {8-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} {6-Spades} {K-Clubs}

Hua is out, and Baumstein is back in business.

Anderson Exits

Jeffrey Anderson has been knocked out after pushing his last 160,000 or so in against Dieter Albrecht, the latter flipping {7-Spades} {7-Diamonds} against Anderson's {A-Diamonds} {K-Clubs}.

The flop came {7-Clubs} {9-Hearts} {6-Spades} and Anderson said, "That's not a great door card..." before the {Q-Hearts} turn and {Q-Diamonds} river sealed his fate.

Ray Deruyn Eliminated

After losing most of his stack early on when he took pocket sixes up against pocket queens, Ray Deruyn got the last of his chips in with pocket threes and David Wickham called with {K-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {10-Hearts} {5-Hearts} {5-Clubs} {6-Clubs} {Q-Clubs}, Wickham rivering a queen to end Deruyn's Main Event.

Hinkle Drops 550K to Haabak

Blair Hinkle
Blair Hinkle
Blair Hinkle and Jesse Haabak got their money in the middle before the flop, Hinkle with {9-Diamonds} {9-Clubs} and Haabak with {K-Clubs} {K-Hearts}.

Hinkle couldn't improve in the {4-Spades} {2-Spades} {2-Hearts} {A-Clubs} {K-Diamonds} board and shipped 550,000 over to Haabak, doubling him up to 1.1 million. Hinkle was left with 900,000.

Sitron Sets Up

On a flop of {5-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {10-Diamonds}, Amir Esfandiary got the rest of his chips into the middle with {A-Clubs} {A-Spades}. Scott Sitron was the covering stack, and he came along to put Esfandiary at risk of elimination with {5-Hearts} {5-Spades}. "I knew you had me," said Esfandiary. "But I called on the backdoor cards."

The {2-Spades} on the turn was one of those potential backdoor cards, but the river was the {10-Spades}. With his full house of fives over tens, Sitron takes out Esfandiary and chips his way up to 680,000.
