Thai Tran KO's Osmin Dardon

300,000 chips were already in the pot with the board reading {10-Spades} {8-Clubs} {7-Clubs} {5-Hearts} on the turn. Osmin Dardon shoved for his remaining 274,000 and Thai Tran made the call.

Dardon {7-Spades} {5-Spades}
Tran {10-Hearts} {9-Hearts}

The river was the {9-Clubs}, Tran spiking a better two pair on the river to send Dardon to the rail and increase his stack to 1,450,000.

Lutz Over Two Million

Tom Lutz was able to get Jeremy Wien to put all of his money into the middle on a {J-Clubs} {9-Spades} {6-Spades} board holding just {K-Hearts} {9-Hearts}. Lutz held the current nuts with {J-Spades} {J-Hearts}.

The turn was the {3-Hearts} and the river the {4-Hearts}. Lutz now has 2,16 million chips.

Avital Eliminated

Another preflop all-in hand occurred just recently between Harry Kazazian and Jacob Avital. Avital held {A-Diamonds} {9-Clubs} and Kazazian held {A-Spades} {10-Clubs}.

The board ran out {J-Spades} {J-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} {9-Spades} {Q-Clubs} and Kazazian won the hand to move to 820,000. Avital was the player at risk in the hand and was sent to the rail.

Chuchuk-ed Out

Gjorgji Chuchuk opened with a raise to 25,000 under the gun, and the bet folded all the way around the table to the blinds. In the big, Dwyane Stacey made a reraise to 100,000. Chuchuk moved all in for about 200,000 total, and Stacey quickly called, turning over pocket kings. Chuchuk could only show two queens, in danger for his tournament life.

The board ran down {A-?} {10-?} {7-?} {K-?} {7-?}, and Stacey's full book locked up the hand. He's sent Chuchuk home, moving his own stack up to 580,000 in the process.

Kennedy Eliminated

Allen Kennedy and Kasper Cordes were all in preflop. Kennedy held {A-Clubs} {10-Diamonds} and Cordes held {A-Hearts} {K-Hearts}.

The board ran out {Q-Diamonds} {7-Hearts} {3-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {10-Clubs} and even though Kennedy hit his ten on the river, it gave Cordes a broadway straight. Cordes now has 1.52 million and Kennedy has been eliminated.

Keys Locked Up

James Keys' excellent run has come to an end at the hands of Marc Etienne McLaughlin.

We're not sure exactly when the chips went in, but the hands and the board looked as follows:

Keys: {K-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs}
McLaughlin: {K-Spades} {J-Spades}

Board: {9-Hearts} {2-Spades} {K-Hearts} {J-Diamonds} {6-Spades}

Holding the Nuts

From early position, Kevin Jenkins raised to 25,000 and found three callers. Theo Tran called from middle position, Vincent Maek called from the cutoff, and Jeff Duvall called from the small blind.

The flop came down {K-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {9-Spades} and Duvall checked. Jenkins fired 40,000. Tran and Maek both folded before Duvall raised all in. Jenkins quickly called and was all in for 162,000 total.

Jenkins held the nuts -- {Q-Hearts} {10-Hearts}. His opponent held top two pair -- {K-Clubs} {J-Diamonds}. The turn and river were both tens and Jenkins was able to double up. He now has 420,000 while Duvall dropped to 380,000.
