Peter Shows Teems the Gate

Edward Teems moved all in for a total of 277,000, and the bet passed nearly all the way around the table. Peter Eastage was the last man standing between Teems and free chips, but the World Champ made the call with the covering stack. He tabled {A-Clubs} {Q-Hearts} and Teems was racing for his tournament life with {J-Clubs} {J-Diamonds}.

Eastgate seems to have won over a lot of fans as the arena eruputed when the flop came {10-Clubs} {A-Hearts} {5-Spades}. Teems was in a deep hole, and the {8-Spades} and {6-Hearts} that filled out the board were total bricks. That's the end of his line, while Eastgate adds an important boost to his stack; he's sitting with just over 700,000 now.

Cook Can't Do What, Exactly?

A huge pot just went down on Blue #30. It was raised preflop from early position by Fernando Gordo to 56,000. Bertrand Grospellier, Scott Cook and Don Tran all called the raise, creating a 4-way pot with more than 225,000 chips in it before a single community card came down.

The flop was {3-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} {K-Spades}. Gordo, the preflop raiser, had to act first. He bet 155,000 and got calls from Grospellier and Cook both. Only Tran folded.

The turn {3-Diamonds} paired the board. Gordo fired another 250,000 into the middle. Again Grospellier and Cook both called, creating a gigantic pot of almost 1.5 million chips heading into the river {8-Diamonds}.

Gordo, perhaps sensing something amiss, finally slowed down. He checked. Grospellier also checked, bringing the action to Cook.

"I can't do it," Cook said after a few moments. He also checked, taking us to showdown.

Gordo: {A-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} - two pair, aces and threes
Grospellier: {A-Clubs} {K-Diamonds} - two pair, aces and threes
Cook: {5-Clubs} {5-Hearts} - a full house, fives ful of threes

Cook dragged the pot to increase his count to about 3 million.

Sharaskin Out

Igor Sharaskin was all in preflop for about 280,000 with {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and found himself in the tough spot of being up against Jordan Smith's {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}.

The flop came {9-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}, and suddenly Sharaskin's prospects appeared much brighter with his set of nines. The {7-Spades} turn then improved his hand to a full house. But the {K-Diamonds} on the river snatched it away from Sharaskin, knocking him out in 133rd place.

Jordan Smith now has 2.02 million.

Bolivar Palacios Eliminated

Bolivar Palacios

Antoine Saout raised to 60,000 from the hijack, Bolivar Palacios moved all in for 220,000 from the button and Saout made the call.

Palacios {4-Clubs} {4-Spades}
Saout {7-Spades} {7-Clubs}

Palacios couldn't improve on the {K-Clubs} {8-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} {9-Clubs} {3-Spades} board and hit the rail in 136th place.

Saca Over Smith

George Saca raised to 56,000 from under the gun, Jordan Smith called from middle position, and Elad Magidov also called from the big blind.

The flop came {5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{10-Clubs}, and all three players checked. The turn was the {4-Spades}. Magidov and Saca checked, then Smith bet 125,000. Both of his opponents called.

The river brought the {2-Spades}. Magidov checked, Saca bet 300,000, Smith called, and Magidov folded.

Saca showed {A-Spades}{J-Spades} for the flush, and Smith mucked. Saca has 2.2 million now, while Smith has 1.7 million.

Hinkle Outkicks Dang

Blair Hinkle raised and Hac "Trex313" Dang called. The flop came down {10-Diamonds} {8-Spades} {8-Clubs}. Hinkle fired out 70,000. Dang tanked and then made the call.

The turn brought the {9-Diamonds} and Hinkle checked. Dang fired 150,000 into the middle. Hinkle slid out 150,000 of his own chips to make the call.

The river brought the {4-Diamonds} and Hinkle checked. Dang checked behind. Hinkle tabled {J-Spades} {9-Clubs} to beat Dang's {9-Hearts} {6-Hearts}.

Chips for Bilzerian

The table folded around to Tom Schneider who raised to 60,000 from the button, and Adam Bilzerian called from the big blind.

The flop came {4-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}, and both players checked. The turn was the {3-Clubs}. Bilzerian fired out 105,000, and Schneider made the call.

The river was the {5-Spades}, and both checked. Bilzerian turned over {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}, and Schneider mucked. Bilzerian has 2.17 million now, while Schneider has 3.74 million.

Fab-ulous!

Fabrice Soulier is runing good right now. Really, really good. He called the preflop all-in raise of Don Tran. Tran's {A-Clubs} {J-Hearts} was drawing thin against Soulier's {Q-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds}. Tran picked up a few more out with a flop of {8-Spades} {9-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds}.

Soulier refused to watch as the turn {9-Clubs} and {7-Spades} river came out, instead bowing his head in the direction of Joe Sebok, sitting to his right. Both of those cards were blanks for Tran, sending him to the rail.

Soulier is up to about 3.1 million in chips.

Mark Ader Doubles Through Matt Affleck

On a flop of {9-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} {4-Clubs}, Mark Ader led out for 220,000, Matt Affleck moved all in, having him well-covered and Ader went into the tank as he contemplated a call for his remaining 720,000.

"Will you show if I fold?" asked Ader. Affleck remained silent.

Ultimately, Ader made the call. Affleck's head sank as he turned up {10-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} for a bluff while Ader showed {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs}. The turn was the {7-Clubs}, the river was the {K-Hearts} and Ader doubled to 2,350,000 while Affleck's stack plummeted to 890,000.
