Marc McLaughlin was mixed up in the thick of it again. On the river of a board, he faced a bet of 300,000 from Jeff Duvall.
McLaughlin seemed unsure what to do. He asked the dealer to spread the pot, which looked to contain about 850,000 chips. Then he gazed across the table at Duvall.
"Do you want a call?" McLaughlin asked. There was no response from Duvall, but McLaughlin seemed to find his answer anyway. He called, then mucked when Duvall showed .
Matt Affleck opened by raising all in for 405,000 from the hijack seat. Then Tian Shou pushed all in as well for exactly 406,000, just a yellow (1000) chip more than Affleck. It folded to Benjamin Jensen in the big blind who made the call.
