Madrid Puts His Gloves On

Former professional boxer Kili Madrid raised to 1,100 from middle position. Eli Elezra called from the button, and the small blind came along as well. Three handed then, the flop showed up {8-Spades} {4-Hearts} {2-Clubs}. The small blind checked, and Madrid continued out with a bet of 1,900. Elezra ducked out, but the small blind decided to check-raise to 5,200. Madrid then re-raised all in, and his lone opponent finally surrendered his hand.

Madrid flashed {K-Hearts} {5-Hearts} for the airball as he raked in the pot. "Now you're crazy man," said Elezra with a big grin. "I'm crazy! I'm crazy!" Madrid said. He was a perfect 8-0 in his pro boxing career, and he's 1-0 on bluffs so far today.
