He Wasn't Player of the Year for Nothing

A player in late position raised to 1,400 and was called by two WSOP bracelet winners. Tom Schneider called on the button and Mike Spegal also called out of the big blind. The flop came down {K-Hearts}

and Spegal checked. The preflop raiser fired 2,600 and only Schneider called.

With one of the bracelet winners gone, the turn brought the {6-Diamonds}

. The late-position player fired again into the 2007 WSOP Player of the Year and two-time bracelet winner, Schneider, for 5,000. Schneider took a moment and then stuck in a raise to 15,000. The player tanked for a minute or two, but eventually folded.
