Mizzi Scoops One Up

Phil Ivey opened the action with a raise to 5,500. The player in the next seat, Saar Wilf, called and then David "Devilfish" Ulliott called from the hijack seat. Action folded all the way around to Sorel Mizzi in the big blind. He put in a reraise to 23,000 and Ivey folded.

Wilf stayed in the hand, as did Ulliott. The three players saw the flop come down {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} {2-Diamonds} and Mizzi fired a continuation bet of 36,000. Wilf called and then Ulliott mucked.

The turn brought the {Q-Spades} and Mizzi checked. Wilf checked behind.

The river was the {K-Spades}. Mizzi took his time and then fired out a bet totaling 70,000 chips. His opponent folded right away and as the pot was pushed towards him, Mizzi showed one card: the {6-Spades}.
