The Summer of George is Over

Christian Heich made it 8,000 to go from early postion and got one call before Carter King raised to 30,400 from late position. When Jason Alexander just flat called from the small blind, Heich came along and the original caller got out of the way.

When the flop fell {6-Hearts}{3-Spades}{4-Diamonds}, Alexander made a small bet of 25,000 and Heich moved all in. King folded and Alexander agonized over his decision before finally putting his tournament life at risk.

Alexander: {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}
Heich: {5-Hearts}{6-Spades}

The turn was a meaningless {9-Clubs} but the river wasn't, bringing the {6-Clubs} and giving Heich trips and a stack worth 870,000.
