Palovic Won't Put Even One More Chip in the Pot

A very curious hand just developed between Marc McLaughlin and Dag Palovic. There was some preflop action that ended with Palovic raising to 125,000 from the small blind and McLaughlin calling. Palovic was first to act after a flop of {10-Spades} {8-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} and bet 125,000. McLaughlin called that bet and called another 175,000 on the {10-Diamonds} turn.

The river fell {K-Hearts}. Palovic still had first action and made the price of poker 385,000. McLaughin then moved all in for 420,000 total just 35,000 chips back to Palovic. With more than 1.65 million chips already in the pot, Palovic elected to fold rather than call the last 35,000.

Palovic is down to 940,000. McLaughlin is up to 1.7 million.
