McLaughlin Can't Stop Playing Pots

Marc McLaughlin was mixed up in the thick of it again. On the river of a {8-Spades} {6-Clubs} {8-Hearts} {J-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds} board, he faced a bet of 300,000 from Jeff Duvall.

McLaughlin seemed unsure what to do. He asked the dealer to spread the pot, which looked to contain about 850,000 chips. Then he gazed across the table at Duvall.

"Do you want a call?" McLaughlin asked. There was no response from Duvall, but McLaughlin seemed to find his answer anyway. He called, then mucked when Duvall showed {A-Hearts} {A-Clubs}.

McLaughlin has slipped to 1.63 million.
