Kopp Gets Some Back

Action is slowing down quite a bit with each pay jump meaning significant extra cash now. The players are still relatively deep-stacked and in no need to flip for big stacks. Smaller pots are ruling the day now.

Kevin Schaffel opened one of those smaller pots to 150,000 from the button. Billy Kopp and Phil Ivey both called from the blinds. All three players checked the {6-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} {4-Hearts} flop. Kopp and Ivey both checked the {Q-Hearts} turn as well, prompting Schaffel to bet 300,000. His attempt to win the pot right there (if that's what it was) failed when Kopp called to the river {3-Hearts}. Kopp then led into Schaffel for 550,000 and collected the pot after a Schaffel fold.
