Calderaro Doubles Through Moon

Darvin Moon and James Calderaro talk it out

Jeff Shulman opened with a raise from early position to 600,000, and Darvin Moon, sitting to Shulman's left, made the call. James Calderaro was next in line, and he shoved all in for 2.425 million.

The table folded back to Shulman, who also got out, then Moon made the call.

Moon showed {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}, and Calderaro {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}.

The flop came {4-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{4-Spades}, and Calderaro was still good. The turn was the {K-Hearts}, giving Calderaro a pair but Moon a gutshot straight draw. The river brought the {3-Spades}, and Calderaro survives.

Calderaro now has about 5.8 million, while Moon remains comfortably seated behind his mountain of 23.5 million chips.
