Go, Go, Freddie Ellis!

Freddie Ellis
Freddie Ellis
As mentioned earlier in the day, Freddie Ellis -- with his gentle, jovial demeanor -- has become the darling of media row. We were therefore pleased to see him drag a monster pot from Ray "Copy-and-Paste" Dehkharghani.

Dehkharghani started the action by completing the {A-Diamonds}. He was raised by Brett Richey's {10-Hearts}. Ellis shoed {8-Clubs} and made a curious cold call of two bets. Dehkharghani then 3-bet, earning calls from both Richey and Dehkharghani.

Dehkharghani bet again on fourth after drawing the {7-Clubs} and was called only by Ellis with the {K-Clubs}. Both players caught seeming bricks on fifth. Action the action was bet, call.

On sixth street, Dehkharghani bet (X-X) / {A-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds} and was raised by Ellis' (X-X) / {8-Clubs} {K-Clubs} {2-Spades} {Q-Diamonds}. Dehkharghani called to the river, where he checked to Ellis. Ellis bet, was check-raised by Dehkharghani and then put in the third bet. Dehkharghani had to make a crying call at that point; Ellis showed down {Q-Spades} {Q-Clubs} {2-Hearts} for a full house, queens full of deuces.

Ellis is up to 380,000, near the top of the pack now. Dehkharghani is down to 220,000; and Richey was eliminated a few hands later.
