With things coming down to the wire in the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers game, the players are paying more and more attention to it. There's 1:26 left on the clock and the Celtics have the lead 95-90. Nick Schulman is standing and pumping his fists with every shot the Celtics make while most of the other players in the room are grimacing at the play from the Lakers, especially when they miss shots or let Boston score. There's plenty of money in this room riding on the game and you can tell by the way some of there players couldn't care less about he $10,000 tournament they're playing right now.
Chris Ferguson, Josh Arieh, Steve Zolotow, Matt Glantz, Hasan Habib, Brandon Adams, Steve Billirakis, David Singer, David Bach, Howard Lederer, Gus Hansen, and Ted Forrest are among the players who utilized the late registration option and just took their seats at the beginning of Level 3.

Norman Chad (X)(X) / / (X)
Opponent (X)(X) / / (X)
Phil Ivey (X)(X) / / (X)
We picked up the action on fourth street, Norman Chad raising his opponent's lead bet and Phil Ivey coming in with a reraise. Both players called. Ivey led out on fifth and both players called. Chad made the high board on sixth and bet out, both opponents calling him down. Everyone checked the river.
Ivey showed in the hole, beating Chad's kings and took down the pot.
"You know what? I've got jobs lined up in the casino for everyone if Tom wins. Seriously, I've talked to people here. Everyone gets a job!" Mike Matusow shouted across the room.
The number one topic of conversation here is still the massive bracelet bets a slew of high-stakes pros have made against Tom Dwan. Two tables away from Matusow, Jean-Robert Bellande piped up that should Dwan win, Huck Seed would be out $350,000 after betting against him at 3.5-1 odds. Matusow is in for $57,000 at 3.2-1 odds and many of the "Big Game" players also have bets in at 3.2-1.
Matusow and Bellande then began jawing back and forth about another WSOP wager they made back at the PokerStars Carribean Adventure. Bellande alleged that Matusow put up 30,000 to his 10,000 on two bets-- a bracelet bet, and one over who would rack up the most tournament earnings at the WSOP.
"I figured you woudn't be in action when I made that bet. How you doing in cash?" Matusow asked.
"Up $4,200."
"I'm up a big f**kin' zero. Wait, how are you in this tournament for $10,000?"
"My backer doesn't know how bad I'm doing."
Matusow then began to argue. "I wouldn't lay 3-1 on most amount cashed. Maybe most cashes, but not most amount cashed. That I know for sure. Do you have it in your phone?"
"Everyone saw it. Justin was there, he laid 3 to 1 too."
"I did not lay 3 to 1" Smith said from the table behind Matusow.
"It's tough not to lay 3-1 against a guy you know will never win one!" Matusow cackled.
We got to the action on fifth street when things really got intense between Bellande and his two opponents. Bellande was up first with his pair of eights and checked. Raney checked and then the other player bet. Bellande raised, Raney reraised, the other player called, Bellande raised again and then Raney capped it. The other player and Bellande called.
On sixth street, Bellande bet, Raney raised, the other player called, Bellande reraised and both his opponents called. On seventh street, Bellande and Raney checked before the other opponent bet. Bellande raised, Raney called, the other player reraised, Bellande re-reraised. Raney called and then the other player capped it. Bellande and Raney called.
Bellande tabled the from his hole cards for a full house to win the high. The unknown player in the hand won the low showing the from his hole cards. Raney mucked his hand and was left shaking his head. Bellande jumped to 39,000 in chips while Raney dropped to 18,000.
