Deeb Hurting

Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

Joshua Macciello has just doubled up through Shaun Deeb after both players committed their chips on a {2-Spades}{Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} flop.

It was Macciello's pocket jacks ahead of Deeb's pocket tens and it stayed that way through the {4-Clubs} turn and {3-Spades} river.

Deeb is down to just 28,000 while Macciello is now sitting pretty with 195,000.

Don't Ask TJ For A Count

TJ Cloutier raised to 5,200 in the cutoff and action folded to Mike Leah in the big blind. He asked Cloutier for a count and the poker veteran took a little offense. "If you paid attention to the game, you'd know what every one has, every time," said Cloutier.

Leah put in a re-raise, forcing a fold from Cloutier saying he had pocket eights. Leah turned over {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and joked, "TJ I couldn't see what you had because your hands are the size of footballs."

"I understand," said Cloutier. He dropped to 65,000 while Leah chips up to 123,000.

Martin Jacked

Jesse Chinni raised to 5,000 from under the gun before Dan Martin shoved all in for around 40,000 from middle position. Chinni made the call.

Chinni: {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}
Martin: {7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

The board ran out {K-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and despite picking up plenty of outs on the turn, Martin couldn't connect with the river and was sent to the rail. Chinni now sits with 156,000.

Ship It To Vivek

On a {K-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts} board, Eric "sheets" Haber checked and Vivek Rejkumar bet 5,500. Haber raised it to 15,000 and Rajkumar called. The turn brought the {K-Hearts} and Haber shoved for about 27,000.

Vivek called and tabled {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}, getting Haber to muck and leave the table before the {A-Diamonds} river hit. Vivek is up to 135,000.

Hellmuth Dodges Bullets!

Phil Hellmuth
Phil Hellmuth

Ted Lawson raised to 5,000 from under the gun with the cutoff player and Phil Hellmuth in the big blind making the call.

They saw a flop of {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and Hellmuth checked to Lawson who fired 15,000. The cutoff player folded as Hellmuth made the call.

The turn was the {J-Hearts} and Hellmuth checked again to Lawson who announced he was all in. Hellmuth removed his glasses and asked for a count. It was around 75,000 to Hellmuth and he went into the tank.

"Go ahead and fold!" chirped Lawson.

"You got aces?" quizzed Hellmuth.

"I got two eights!" replied Lawson, which drew a few chuckles from the table.

Eventually Lawson called the clock, much to the surprise of the table who had seen Lawson tank for a long time earlier in the day.

The floor gave Hellmuth 30 seconds to act and he decided to fold his pocket queens face up to the shock of the fans on the rail.

It was a tremendous fold as Lawson flashed pocket aces!

"YES BABY! I can dodge bullets! That's what I do! That's what I do baby! I can't play any better!" yelled an excited Hellmuth as he stood and walked around the nearby tables.

That's why he's an eleven-time bracelet winner folks!
