The Event That Draws Out the Best

Homan Houshiar, chip leader at end of Day 1
Homan Houshiar, chip leader at end of Day 1

Welcome back to Day 2 of Event No. 19, the $10,000 Deuce-to-Seven Draw Lowball Championship (No-Limit). From our star-studded field of 101 players who entered this one, a total of 72 will be returning today, with Canadian Homan Houshiar returning as the overnight chip leader.

While Houshiar's name may not (yet) be one we immediately recognize, a quick look down the leaderboard reveals many more of whom even casual poker fans are well aware.

Tom "durrrr" Dwan, David Williams, John Juanda, Mike Matusow, Daniel Negreanu, and Erik Seidel are all returning to above average stacks today. Barry Greenstein, Eli Elezra, Chris Ferguson, Doyle Brunson, Greg Raymer, and Huck Seed will also be back to fight for one of the most prestigious bracelets among the preliminary events. (That's just a sampling of the stacked field we have returning -- see the Day 2 seating assignments below for the full list.)

Play is scheduled to restart at 3 p.m. Vegas time. Come back then to follow all of the action as poker's best players compete to make the worst hands.
