Grinder Doing His Thing

Pot-Limit Omaha:

The small pots are often just as important as the big ones. Michael Mizrachi just won a small one from David Benyamine in a cautiously played hand. Benyamine limped in pre-flop and Mizrachi checked from the big blind. Both players then checked the {7-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} {7-Hearts} flop.

When the turn came {10-Diamonds}, Mizrachi tried a bet of 3,000. Benyamine called to the {10-Hearts} river, where Mizrachi bet 10,000. Benyamine seemed surprised by the size of the bet but was informed by the dealer that it was exactly pot-sized. Benyamine called, then mucked when Mizrachi opened {a-Hearts} {3-Hearts} {a-Clubs} {3-Spades} for a heart flush.
