Welcome to Event #21: $1,500 Seven Card Stud!

Welcome back to the 2010 World Series of Poker for Event #21: $1,500 Seven Card Stud

Last year this event took place slightly earlier in the schedule (Event #16) and drew 359 entrants. It was eventually won by Jeff Lisandro, who pocketed $124,959 for his efforts. It was Lisandro's first bracelet of the three he would go on to claim during the 2009 Series on his road to winning the 2009 Player of the year.

We'll be sure to report on whether Lisandro enters in an attempt to win back-to-back bracelets in the same event, as well as which other notable players will thrown in $1,500 for a shot at WSOP glory. There's a lot going on in the Amazon Room and the Pavilion today, so it's anybody's guess as to how many contestants we'll get.

Make sure to stay tuned to PokerNews as we provide live coverage of Event #21 from 5:00pm PST.
