Laird of the Manor

James Laird: {2-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{q-Clubs} / {6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Jon Turner: (XXX) / {5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{10-Spades}

We picked up the action on fifth street with Jon Turner check-calling a bet from James Laird; he check-called again on sixth, and, indeed on seventh.

They went to showdown and Laird turned over the tiniest flush with the {2-Hearts}{3-Hearts}. It was presumably good enough, as Turner mucked and dipped to 60,000, still good enough for top three in the chip counts at this time. Laird meanwhile is heading into serious big stack territory on 71,000 - only our chip leader Dan Heimiller has more.
