Showdown
Yang:

Opponent:

The

flop was clean, and so too was the
on the turn. The
spiked on the river though and Yang sent his opponent to the rail.
Yang is now our unnofficial chip leader with 71,000 chips to his name.
Faraz Jaka and Daniel Negreanu have been battling over on their table here in the Pavilion Room. In a recent hand Negreanu opened to 675, a player in the small blind called and so too did Jaka from the big blind.
The dealer flopped

and the blinds checked to Negreanu who continued for 1,200. Only Jaka called.
Jaka check-called 2,500 from Negreanu after the
turned and both players checked after the
rivered. Jaka opened
for tens and sevens and Negreanu mucked.
"I was protecting my five," he told Jaka.
Negreanu slipped to 6,400 and Jaka's stack just keeps on growing, pushing towards 70,000.
Alex Fitzgerald three bet all in from the cutoff for his last 4,675 and was called by the original raiser.
Fitzgerald:

Opponent:

The board blanked out for Fitzgerald as he hit the rail just shy of the dinner break.
Walking past Lex 'RaSZi' Veldhuis' table we noticed that his chair was vacant.
Veldhuis held Kings and Jeremy Ausmus ace-king with all the money going in preflop.
Unfortunately for Veldhuis, the river would fall an ace to send him to the rail.
Mark Seif opened to 800 only to have Jerry Yang three-ball him to 3,300.
Seif made the call before jamming his last 1,500 when the

flop fell down with Yang snap-calling.
Seif:

Yang:

The turn and river landed the
and
to see Seif hit the rail as Yang soars to over 83,000 in chips.
