Spare the Rodman, Spoil Seagle's Dominance

Blair Rodman: {a-}{a-}{2-} / {4-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{q-Hearts}{8-Spades}
Topias Wahlbeck: (XX) / {9-Clubs}{2-Spades}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs}
Dennis Seagle: {2-}{5-}(X) / {7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{2-Clubs}

We arrived at the table to witness Blair Rodman announcing a raise to 24,000 on sixth street; this constituted a three-bet. Topias Wahlbeck thought about it for a while but folded. Dennis Seagle made the call.

Rodman, with just 7,000 behind, checked on seventh street and Seagle opted to check behind. When they turned the cards over neither of them could make a low. Seagle had made two pair, deuces and fives, but Rodman made two pair, aces and queens, and scooped the pot.

Rodman roughly doubled to 110,000. Seagle dropped to 83,000.
