Depa Bests Junglen

Adam Junglen
Adam Junglen

Jonathan Depa raised to 6,600 in early position and was called by Trevor Pope in middle position and Adam Junglen from the big blind. When the flop came {8-Spades}{2-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}, all three players checked.

They did the same when the {3-Spades} hit the turn. When the {8-Hearts} came on the river, Junglen checked, Depa bet 10,000, Pope folded, and Junglen made the call.

Depa showed {8-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{A-Clubs}, which was good enough to take the pot and increase his stack to 108,000. Junglen dropped to 76,000 after the hand.

Iacofano Claims Most of Cloutier's Chips

A huge pot just now over at Table 368 between T.J. Cloutier and Kevin Iacofano, resulting in a massive movement of chips.

Following a flop of {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{6-Spades}, Iacofano got all of his stack in, and Cloutier got most of his. Iacofano had {A-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and Cloutier {J-Hearts}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. Iacofano had the straight, while Cloutier was hoping to draw to a better one, or turn his two pair into a boat.

The turn was the {5-Diamonds} and the river was the {6-Clubs}, and Iacofano's hand held. Cloutier has suddenly plunged to just 13,000 chips, while Iacofano soars to 380,000.

T.J. Cloutier has been eliminated

Shortly after that huge hand in which Kevin Iacofano took most of T.J. Cloutier's stack, Iacofano was the one to finish the six-time WSOP bracelet winner off for good in this event.

All in preflop, Cloutier had {K-Spades}{8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} versus Iacofano's {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{10-Spades}{7-Hearts}. The community cards came {J-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, and Iacofano's hand was best.

After leading for much of the afternoon, Cloutier is out in 38th place ($6,470). Iacofano extends his huge lead, chipping to 395,000.
