Three Knaves for Idema

Daniel Idema raised from the button, and Matt Keikoan called to see a flop.

It came down {3-Hearts} {J-Diamonds} {J-Spades}, and Keikoan check-raised an Idema bet. Idema called, and Keikoan checked to him again on the {Q-Clubs} turn. Idema fired a bet, and another one on the {K-Spades} river, and Keikoan called both of them.

Idema showed down {J-Hearts} {4-Hearts}, and his trip jacks were good for the pot.

Dead Man's Hand Gives Keikoan Life

Matt Keikoan opened for a raise from the button, Dan Idema three-bet from the big blind and Keikoan called.

Idema led out on the {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop and Keikoan called. The {8-Hearts} hit the turn and Idema fired again, Keikoan coming along with a call. The {7-Diamonds} on the river brought a bet from Idema and a call from Keikoan.

Idema showed ace-nine for top pair, but Keikoan turned two pair with {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and raked in the pot with aces and eights. He's up to 1.45 million.

Kyle Ray Eliminated in 3rd Place ($190,702)

Kyle Ray, 3rd place
Kyle Ray, 3rd place

Kyle Ray opened for a raise from the button, Matt Keikoan three-bet from the big blind, Ray four-bet, Keikoan capped and Ray called. Ray bet his last 20,000 in the dark and Keikoan called.

Ray {Q-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Keikoan {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}

Keikoan hit top pair on the {J-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop. Ray turned a gutshot straight draw when the {K-Spades} hit the turn, but the river blanked out with the {4-Diamonds}, sending Ray to the rail with a third-place finish.

Lucky Sevens

Matt Keikoan raised from the button and Dan Idema defended his big blind.

Both players checked the {9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop. Idema led out when the {9-Clubs} came on the turn and Keikoan called. The river brought the {3-Diamonds} and Idema bet again, Keikoan looking him up.

Idema's pair of sevens with {7-Spades}{5-Diamonds} were good and he took down the pot.

Keikoan Doing Some Work

Matt Keikoan raised preflop, and Kyle Ray three-bet it.

They got a bet apiece in on the {7-Diamonds} [2h} {10-Clubs} flop, and Keikoan raised to two bets on the {8-Spades} turn. Ray called there, and he check-called another bet on the {K-Diamonds} river.

Keikoan turned up {J-Spades} {9-Clubs}, and that's a straight to the jack. Keikoan has further bolstered his stack now, back over the million-chip milestone.
