Corkins Has Kicker Problems

Brent Courson raised from early position, and Hoyt Corkins three-bet in position.

The flop came out {10-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} {10-Hearts}, and Courson check-called a bet. He did the same on the {8-Clubs} turn, and the {6-Hearts} filled out the board on fifth street. Courson checked again, and Corkins slowly tapped the table behind.

Courson flipped up {A-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} for the nut kickers, and Corkins held his cards up, staring at them for several long seconds. Finally, he dumped his inferior {A-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} onto the felt, sending the pot over to his opponent's corner.

Corkins - 92,000
Courson - 106,000
