Painter Drops Two in a Row

On a {3-Hearts}{8-Spades}{4-Spades} flop, Jameson Painter led out and Kyle Ray called. Both players checked the {5-Hearts} on the turn. The river was the {10-Spades} and Painter check-folded to Ray's bet.

On the next hand, Painter raised, Dan Idema three-bet and Painter called. They went heads-up to a {7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop and Idema led out. Painter called. Idema led again when the {3-Clubs} fell on the turn and Painter called. The river was the {8-Clubs} and Painter folded to Idema's bet.

After those two hands, Painter was down to 250,000 and the pumpkin patch was rather quiet.
