Just Phil

Facing an under the gun raise to 2,000, Phil Hellmuth made the call from the big blind leaving himself just 3,500 behind.

The flop fell down {5-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and Hellmuth check-folded when his opponent moved all in.

The next hand however Hellmuth pushed from the small blind to pick up the 800 big blind and the antes to recover to 5,200.

Stout Closes In On 100k

"Bollocks! I have to fold again!"
"Bollocks! I have to fold again!"

Facing a raise on the button to 2,300, Neil Channing three-bet from the small blind to 7,500.

"How much is that?" asked Matt Stout as he contemplated a decision from out of the big blind.

Stout then grabbed a stack of yellow 1,000-denomination chips, carefully cut down a raise of 19,000 and dropped them into the pot.

The button passed, as did Channing, to see Stout take down the pot and move to 95,000 as Channing slips to below 70,000.

Hellmuth Run Down By Own Hand

Number 12 ain't coming today!
Number 12 ain't coming today!

Dan Kelly opened to 1,600 under the gun only to have Phil Hellmuth move all in for 4,700 total.

Kelly made the call tabling The Hellmuth - or in normal words - {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} to be in a race against Hellmuth's {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}.

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{5-Spades}{10-Spades}{K-Hearts} to see the crowd favorite hit the rail.

Stack Those Chips Up Nam

Nam Le opened to 2,500 from middle position and found a caller as both players checked the {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} flop.

The {2-Spades} landed on the turn and Le fired out a 3,500-chip bet which his opponent called before the {Q-Hearts} fell on the river.

Le opted with 5,200 this time, but his opponent tossed his hand into the muck to see the pot pushed to Le as he climbs to roughly 42,000 in chips.

Le must have had a good dinner, because when they departed, he had just under 5,000 in chips.
