Channing On Fire!

Neil Channing should be a little happier now!
Neil Channing should be a little happier now!

After finding a double himself, Channing has gone one better by sending an opponent to the rail.

With all the money going in on a {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop, Channing held {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} against Roger Robinson's {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}.

The turn landed the {2-Diamonds} to give Channing his flush, and after the {A-Spades} fell on the river, Channing climbed to over 430,000 in chips.

Margolis Spikes Turn To Stay Alive!

Andrew Margolis saw the last of his chips enter the pot with John Dolan putting his tournament life at risk.

Margolis: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Dolan: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}

The flop fell down {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} to put Margolis on the edge of his seat at the prospect of being eliminated, but when the {8-Clubs} landed on the turn he was a near lock to win the pot unless one of the remaining Aces or Kings were too fall on the river.

Fortunately for Margolis the river peeled the {4-Diamonds} to see him double through to 135,000 as Dolan slips to 450,000 in chips.

Strauss-esque Victory No More!

Every poker player dreams of one day not only winning a tournament, but also fighting back Jack Strauss style from a single chip!

Hey, even this very blogger has done it before!

Kyle Bonazzo must having been thinking that maybe today could be his day after being all in for just a single 500-ante during the mid stages of last level.

He managed to build that 500 in chips all the way up to 50,000, until now.

Finding himself all in from under the gun for his last 44,000, Christopher Kastler put Bonazzo's tournament life on the line.

Bonazzo: {A-Clubs}{J-Spades}
Kastler: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}

The board ran out {5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} to see Bonazzo flushed to the rail as Kastler climbs to 500,000 in chips.
