Singer's Song Almost Sung

Omaha 8/b

David Singer is in shor-stack land after losing a big three-way pot of Omaha Hi/Lo. Singer was the first pre-flop aggressor, opening with a raise that Loren Rice re-raised. Tom Dwan took three to the face, before Singer closed the action with a call.

Singer was first to act on a flop of {9-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} and led into Rice. Rice and Dwan both called. All three players checked the {6-Clubs} turn. The river was the {7-Diamonds}, putting three diamonds on board. Singer led out again, only to see Rice raise. Dwan quickly and quietly mucked his cards; Singer tanked for about 30 seconds before calling. Rice turned over a very strong holding -- {a-Clubs} {2-Spades} {a-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds}, the nut flush and the nut low.

Singer couldn't beat either hand and is down to 6,300.
