We don't know if any of the players on Table 23 are affiliated with BP, but one of them spilled their water all over the table. Table 23 has since relocated to Table 28 until the situation is dealt with.
Does anybody have some extra hair?
Aaron Jones opened the pot in middle position with a 2,4000-chip raise and David Benyamine called in the big blind.
The flop ran out and Benyamine check-called a 3,100-chip bet. The turn card was a and once more, Benyamine check-called a 7,700 chip-bet. When fell on the river both players checked.
Jones said "I just have king high", and Benyamine tabled . Benyamine is now up to 160,000 chips.
A player raised to 1,800 from under the gun and another player three-bet to 4,300 from the small blind. Steve Billirakis four-bet to 9,100 from the big blind and the original raiser released his hand. The player in the small blind shoved for 25,000 and Billirakis snapped it off.
Showdown
Billirakis:
Small Blind:
The board was clean, , and Billirakis KO'd his opponent chipping up to 120,000.
Phil Ivey and Bryn Kenney are going to be in every pot together.
The two were heads up with the board reading and Kenney check-called 3,500 from Ivey.
The turn was the and again Kenney check-called a bet from Ivey. This one was worth 7,500.
The river brought the and Kenney check-called yet another bet from Ivey. The third and last bet was 15,000 and Kenney kissed the chips away after Ivey opened for a rivered straight.
Ivey is now up to 81,000 chips and Kenney is down to 59,000.
When we arrived at the table, the board read . Andrew Robl fired a 14,000-chip bet on the buttonn and Anthony Roux check-called under the gun.
The river card was a and Roux announced that he was all in. Robl tanked forever and eventually folded.
Roux moved up to 90,000 and Robl slipped to 65,000.
Usually we talk about Tables of Death at the beginning of the day, because obviously the tables get tougher as the field whittles down.
Table 12 is worth mentioning however.
Seat 1: Christian Iacobellis
Seat 2: Toto Leonidas
Seat 3: Chad Batista
Seat 4: Praz Bansi
Seat 5: Bryn Kenney
Seat 6: Phil Ivey
In a recent hand, Kenney opened to 2,200 in middle position, Ivey flatted in the cutoff and Leonidas defended his big blind.
The flop fell .
Leonidas checked, Kenney continued for 3,700 and Ivey was his only caller. Both players checked the on the turn.
The river brought the and Kenney led for 4,800. Ivey graced him with his classic stare and eventually made the call.
Kenney opened and Ivey showed something damn similar; . The two chopped.
This is most likely the first of many sick battles between these five players.
Greg Dyer was down to his last 3,800 when he was all in holding wired kings. An opponent had him at risk with king-queen and Dyer held.
Unfortunately he couldn't parlay the double up into anything more and was eliminated soon after.
Just before the break, PokerStars Team Pro Canada member Darus Suharto doubled through an opponent at his table.
Suharto was all in preflop holding against an opponent's and held after the board ran .
Suharto, who Jason "JCarver" Somerville deemed earlier the nicest guy in poker, now has 36,000 chips.
