Match 2: Unsuccessful River Raise For Schmejkal

Ayaz Mahmood opened to 160,000 from the button and Ernst Schmejkal defended his big blind to see a {9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop fall.

Schmejkal checked and Mahmood fired out 175,000 with Schmejkal making the call as the {J-Hearts} fell on the turn with both players checking.

The river landed the {3-Spades} and once Schmejkal checked, Mahmood cut out a bet amounting 300,000. unsuccessful

With the action on Schmejkal he shuffled a stack of chips for over a minute before reaching for two 25,000-chip stacks and sliding them into the pot to amount to a raise of 1,000,000.

Mahmood quickly called and was shown Schmejkal's {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}, but it would be his {J-Clubs}{10-Hearts} that would take the pot down and see him soar to 5,480,000 as Schmejkal slips to 2,200,000 in chips.
