Carlson Doubles Through Pasillas

Edin Pasillas decided to three-bet Mick Carlson's preflop raise to 29,000 by going all in for about 420,000. Carlson made the call for all his chips.

Carlson: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Pasillas: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}

Brent Roberts couldn't have made Pasillas feel any better about his chances when he said, "I folded pocket eights." If Roberts was telling the truth, Pasillas was drawing to a straight, flush or chop.

The flop came {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} with the {7-Diamonds} on the turn and {10-Diamonds} on the river. After the hand Carlson found himself with about 640,000 chips, while Pasillas is down to just 100,000.
