Wheeler Triples

Omaha-8

David Benyamine raised from under the gun. Brent Wheeler reraised and Dan Heimiller and Benyamine made the call.

On the {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{j-Hearts} flop, Heimiller checked to Benyamine who bet. Wheeler made the call as did Heimiller.

The {7-Hearts} fell on the turn and Heimiller checked again. Benyamine bet and Wheeler called all in. Heimiller called and the river brought the {3-Clubs}.

Heimiller check-called Benyamine's bet.

Heimiller showed {a-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{6-Hearts}{q-Clubs} to split the side pot with Benyamine who held {a-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{j-Clubs}. Wheeler took three-quarters of the main pot with {a-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{7-Spades}{8-Clubs} holding the nut flush and the nut low, while Heimiller took a quarter of the main pot.

Scott Seiver Eliminated in 16th Place ($11,675)

Scott Seiver - 16th place
Scott Seiver - 16th place

Omaha-8

Scott Seiver raised under the gun for his last chips with Yuebin Guo making the call.

Seiver: {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Guo: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}

Mike Matusow approached the table to sweat Seiver and called for high cards on the flop, but instead the {3-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} was pretty ugly. It got worse on the {A-Hearts} turn as Guo made an unbeatable wheel. The river was the {6-Clubs} and Seiver is eliminated in 16th place for a payday of $11,675.

Ivey Chips Up

Omaha-8

Dan Heimiller raised the cutoff and Phil Ivey defended in the big blind.

They went heads-up to a flop of {Q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{6-Spades} and Ivey checked, before calling the bet from Heimiller. Both players checked the {A-Diamonds} turn before the {6-Hearts} hit the river.

Ivey led out with a bet and Heimiller thought for a few moments before making a hesitant fold.

Ivey chips up to 105,000 with Heimiller back to 80,000.
