Makowsky in Trouble

Hold'em

The game switched back to hold'em at Table 316 and immediately caused problems for Dan Makowsky. Chad Brown raised the button before Makowsky, in the small blind, made it three bets. Brown called.

Makowsky continued on the {k-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {7-Hearts} flop and the {3-Diamonds} turn. Brown called each bet, then fired a bet of his own when Makowsky checked the river. Makowsky called but couldn't beat Brown's two pair, kings and eights, {k-Spades} {8-Spades}. The hand seemed to steam Makowsky. He slammed sme of his chips onto the felt, then got up and took a short walk away from the table to stare out over the Amazon Room.

Makowsky is down to 96,000.
