Phil Ivey wins his 8th bracelet.

The players are now on the first 20-minute break of the day. It's also time for the day's bracelet ceremony. There's an unusually large crowd on hand to see Phil Ivey receive his eighth bracelet, presented by special guest Jack Binion.

PokerNews field reporter Greg Lewis had the chance to talk to Ivey before the bracelet ceremony. Lewis asked him how he felt about earning bracelet #8 and getting closer to the bracelet totals of other poker legends like Doyle Brunson and Phil Hellmuth. Ivey said it was nice to pick up his eighth and tie with Erik Seidel, adding that he looks forward to catching Hellmuth.

Valdemar Kwaysser will also be awarded his bracelet for winning the $10k Pot-Limit Hold'em Championship.
