Massive Pot for Ritzie

What happens when three people get dealt ace-deuce? The pot becomes a mess to split. Perry Green opened pre-flop for 30,000 and was called by Sergei Altbregin and Joe Ritzie from the big blind. Ritzie acted first on a flop of {j-Hearts}{3-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and bet the pot. Both of his opponents called.

The turn came {j-Spades}, with Ritzie moving all in for 127,000. Again both of his opponents called. They were playing on the side when the {6-Hearts} river came. Green checked to Altbregin. He then moved all in, with Green calling all in himself!

The side pot between Altbregin and Green went three-quarters to Green with his {a-Hearts}{2-Spades}{3-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} making the nut low and two pair, jacks and sixes. Altbregin's {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}, the nut low and two pair, jacks and fives, was quartered. As for the main pot, Ritzie opened his own ace-deuce, {a-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{6-Spades}{j-Clubs}. He made the nut low and the nut full house to get all of the high half, and a third of the low half, with Green and Altbregin taking a third each.

After the hand Ritzie was up to 535,000, Green was up to 815,000, and Altbregin -- the big loser in the hand -- was down to 280,000.
