From 3,128 to 9: The Final Table Awaits

Adam White
Adam White

Welcome back to today's final table for Event #47, the fifth of the six $1,000 buy-in, open-field no-limit hold'em events on this year's WSOP schedule. Out of 3,128 runners, just nine remain, each of whom will be fighting for his first WSOP gold bracelet.

Adam White starts today as the chip leader. White is also the one player of our final nine who has come the closest to winning a bracelet before, having finished runner-up in a WSOP bracelet event in 2005. Close behind him is Allan Baekke who showed at the EPT Snowfest Main Event earlier this year that he knows how to finish, having bested a tough field there to come out on top.

Action is set to start at 2:30 p.m. local time. Come back then to see who among the final nine claims the bracelet and turns that $1,000 investment into nearly half a million!
