Chow Down

Omaha 8/b

Michael Chow had just 700 chips left, which wasn't even enough to cover his small blind. David Steicke raised from the cutoff and got called by Matthew Vengrin on the button, leaving a main pot of 2,800 for Chow.

The flop came {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Steicke bet with Vengrin calling. Both players checked the {9-Clubs} turn, and Steicke bet the {10-Diamonds} river with Vengrin thinking for a while before making the call.

Turns out Vengrin made a good call. Steicke mucked his hand before seeing Vengrin's hand, which was {4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}. Chow couldn't beat it and he mucked his cards as well.
