Wice Scoops Yakovenko

Omaha-8

Nikolai Yakovenko raised the button and Alexander Wice called from the small blind. The flop came down {8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Spades} and both players checked to see the {J-Clubs} fall on the turn. Wice bet the turn and Yakovenko called. The river completed the board with the {9-Hearts} and both players checked again.

Wice tabled the {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a pair of jacks to win the high and a low of 8-7-5-2-A. He scooped the pot and moved back to 235,000 in chips. Yakovenko dropped back to 565,000.
