John Sidoni Eliminated in 18th Place ($18,809)

John Sidoni called Kyle Knecht's under the gun raise to 45,000 and the two went to a flop reading {k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}. When Knecht bet close to 90,000 into the pot, Sidoni shoved the rest of his stack and was snap-called by Knecht.

Sidoni: {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Knecht: {k-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}

Knecht's hand held through the rest of the board and Sidoni will be able to beat the traffic home for dinner.

Berda Gets Some Help from Bell

We arrived after the hand had wound up, but were able to catch Tomer Berda scooping up a pile of chips after doubling through Hugh Bell. We were able to catch the cards on the table, and they looked a little something like this:

Berda: {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Bell: {a-Clubs}{7-Hearts}
Board: {9-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{5-Hearts}

Berda's straight bested Bell's two pair, and Berda was left with twice as many chips as he started.

Not too long afterwards, Berda was seen mixing it up in a pot with David Tuthill. When we arrived, there was about 90,000 in the pot, with the flop reading {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}. Tuthill bet 63,000 from the under the gun position and folded to Berda's re-rase to 175,000.

Berda has now about 550,000 and Bronshtein slipped to 350,000.
