Double Up for Pilgrim

Randall Brooks opened the pot with a raise to 10,000 and had a caller, Dwyte Pilgrim.

Flop: {3-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{9-Clubs}

Pilgrim checked it back to Brooks who raised it to 13,000. Pilgrim popped it and Brooks went all in. Pilgrim snap called and showed {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}. Brooks showed {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}.

The turn and a river didn't helped Brooks and left him with 180,000 chips.

Dwyte Pilgrim is now up to 300,000 and told Brook, "I'm coming for the rest!"

Foutty Rides a Roller Coaster Before Leaving the Amazon

After losing a big pot to John Sidoni, Stephen Foutty was involved in a number of all-in hands that eventually saw him eliminated.

In the first hand, his {k-Hearts}{9-Clubs} bested Getty Mattingsley's {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} on a board reading {q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{9-Spades}{2-Diamonds}.

Foutty was up to 32,000 when he went all in again, and lost, doubling a player up and sinking to 13,200.

His last hand was, fittingly enough, lost to Sidoni when Foutty's {7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} didn't improve against Sidoni's {8-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} on a {j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{k-Hearts} board.

Timothy Adams Near the Top

When we arrived on the scene, action was going down on the turn. With a board reading {10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{8-Clubs}, Timothy Adams bet out 30,500 chips and had a caller, Louis Lau.

The river was a {5-Hearts} and Adams bet out 54,600. Lau eventually folded and has now 200,000 chips.

Adams is near the chiplead with 330,000 chips.

Elliot Smith Makes an Exit

Elliot Smith

Elliot Smith's final hand started off with his min-raise to 8,000 from middle position. Chris Moorman was in the cutoff and re-raised to 22,000. This sent Smith tanking, leading another player to call the clock on him. When it came time to make a decision, he did so by shoving all in and was snap-called by Moorman.

Smith: {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Moorman: {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}

Smith was unable to catch a break when the cards came {j-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{4-Spades} and said, "Ahhh, why did I do that?" before walking to collect his earnings.

Chris Moorman now has about 260,000 chips.

Sidoni Breaks 300k

This hand was kicked off when a player in middle position raised the stakes to 10,000 preflop. Stephen Foutty re-raised to 27,000 on the button, and John Sidoni responded by shoving his stack of about 145,000 all in. The original raiser folded and Foutty was left thinking about what to do. Sidoni tried to help Foutty make a decision by saying "Probably think I have nothing huh?" Regardless of his reasons for doing so, Foutty did indeed make the call.

Sidoni: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}
Foutty: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

Sidoni was well ahead and stayed that way through a board of {2-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}.

When all was said and done, Sidoni had 315,000 chips and one last piece of advice for Foutty, who was left with 105,000. "Just follow your instinct and fold the damn hand," he said.

Bansi Stays Ahead of Pack

Although a number of players are jumping into the 200,000 range, Praz Bansi isn't waiting for them to catch up. In this latest hand, Bansi raised from middle position and faced an all-in re-raise from the small blind. The big blind folded and Bansi made the call.

Bansi: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Small blind: {A-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

Bansi didn't relinquish his lead on the hand with the board dropping {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}.

Winning the hand shot Bansi's chip count to 370,000
