Benny Spindler Eliminated in 19th Place ($15,566)

Benny Spindler - 19th Place
Benny Spindler - 19th Place

Mark Eddleman limped from the cutoff, and on the button, Benny Spindler potted to 54,000. It folded back to Eddleman, who asked how much Spindler had behind. He had about 40,000 left, but Eddleman decided to flat call. The cooler flop fell {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{5-Clubs}, and Eddleman snap shoved. Spindler called just as fast. "Flush," said Eddleman, and Spindler threw his cards down in disgust.

Spindler: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{6-Spades} for middle set
Eddleman: {j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{10-Spades}{7-Hearts} for a flopped flush

Spindler needed the board to pair to stay alive, but the {3-Clubs} turn and {7-Clubs} river were entirely unhelpful. Spindler left disappointedly in 19th place, and Eddleman stacked up 310,000.

They're down to 18 now and redrawing to two tables.

Ross Boatman Eliminated in 20th Place ($15,566)

Ross Boatman - 20th Place
Ross Boatman - 20th Place

Ross Boatman made his last stand preflop with {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Danny Smith called him down with the case aces - [asad5c5dh].

The {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop didn't give either a flush draw, and the {6-Hearts} turn gave Boatman five extra outs to win rather than chop. But the cruel {5-Diamonds} on the river made Smith a set to bust a stunned Boatman. He's out in 20th, while Smith is suddenly in the top of the counts with 760,000.

Josh Tieman Eliminated in 21st Place ($15,566)

There was an all in hand on all three tables, and Josh Tieman found himself on the losing end of one of them. He is out in 21st place, following fellow 2010 bracelet winner Ayaz Mahmood. That means we're guaranteed to add a new face to the summer's wall of winners tonight.

Joe Serock Eliminated in 24th Place ($15,566)

This one is complicated, and funny, and sad, and above all, MASSIVE.

Ross Boatman raised pot in early position and Joe Serock flat-called. Scott Mandel re-potted, and Boatman called all in. Serock called too, and a side pot was formed.

Serock and Mandel saw a {q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop and Serock went all in for 245,000. Mandel called all in for 244,000, a 1,000 chip difference.

Boatman: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{8-Hearts} for a pair of nines
Serock: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} for top pair
Mandel: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} for an overpair and a flush draw

Turn: {9-Clubs}

River: {9-Hearts}

Yes, that's right. Boatman made runner-runner quads. As you do. He tripled up to 252,000, and after the hand went over and did a little dance in front of fellow Hendon Mobber Joe Beevers. Fair enough.

However, the more astute reader will have noticed Mandel, already ahead on the flop, had improved to a flush, meaning he took the chunky side pot and moved up to 490,000. Serock was left with just 1,000. It went in a couple hands later.

Serock: {k-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Danny Smith: {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

Board: {3-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}

Smith flopped a flush, and that was that for Serock.
