Tieman Takes Down Aces

A player moved all in on a {9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop, and Joshua Tieman called to put him at risk.

Tieman: {8-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades}
Shorter stack whose aces are about to get cracked: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}X

The {10-Spades} on the turn ended the sweat pretty fast, and after the {7-Clubs} on the river, Tieman's unhappy opponent hit the rail and Tieman moved up to 57,000.

Mercier Gets a Fold

Jason Mercier bet 2,000 on a board reading {7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}, and his opponent check-raised him to 6,000. Mercier looked unphased and quickly moved all in for 7,300 more. The other player definitely wasn't expecting that move. He tanked for four minutes before finding a fold, much to the amusement of the rest of the table. Mercier moved up to 20,000 without needed to sweat a turn or river.

Boosted J Can't Call

Justin "Boosted J" Smith made it 1,600 to go on a flop of {4-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{q-Hearts}. His opponent bumped it up to 4,600 and Smith followed along.

On the {k-Spades} turn, Smith check-called a bet of 12,200.

The {k-Diamonds} hit the river, and Smith checked to his opponent, who moved all in for 4,500. Smith promptly folded and is at 23,000.

Bye Bye Baby

On a flop of {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}{5-Hearts}, Scotty Nguyen raised all in on his opponent's 8,000 bet. His opponent made the call and the cards were on their backs.

Nguyen: {2-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades}{q-Spades}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{7-Spades}

The turn brought the {j-Hearts} and the river the {8-Hearts} and Nguyen's flopped trips ousted his opponent to send him to the rail and boost his stack to 67,000.

Boatman Sinks One

Barney Boatman's opponent fired 2,500 after the flop came out {10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}. Boatman shipped it in, and the other player called with all of his smaller stack.

Boatman: {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Shorty: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

The {3-Spades} on the turn was a total blank, but the {8-Diamonds} on the river gave Boatman a flush and the knockout. He's up to 33,000 now.

Grinder Not Kicking Anymore

Michael Mizrachi bet 2,600 on a {k-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop, and his lone opponent called. The turn brought the {7-Spades}, and Mizrachi moved all in. The other player called to put him at risk with {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for the turned straight. Mizrachi's {k-Spades}{10-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} had boat and chop outs, but the {2-Diamonds} wasn't good enough to keep him in the game.

Singer Makes the Call

The floor was just called to David Singer's table. Singer's opponent bet 2,800 on the river, and Singer called, tossing out 2,300. The other player turned up his hand, and Singer went to muck since he couldn't beat it. But when the dealer tried to get the other 500 out of him, Singer said he thought the dealer had announced the bet as 2,300. The floor ruled that Singer had to pay the full amount that the player had moved across the line as a bet. And Singer complied after he was allowed to say his piece.
