Cousineau Headed to the Rail

A player under the gun opened for 1,100. Tony Cousineau raised to 3,900. Mike Matusow made the call, as did the player under the gun.

The flop came down {4-Spades}{k-Spades}{9-Clubs} and it was checked to Cousineau who made it 2,700. Matusow called and the player under the gun bet the pot, which put him all in. Cousineau snap-called and Matusow folded.

Cousineau: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Hearts}
Opponent: {j-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

The turn brought the {q-Diamonds} and the river the {3-Diamonds} and Cousineau's aces were no match for the two pair of his opponent.

Grinder Still Kicking

Michael Mizrachi was down to 4,100 when a player in front of him raised to 1,300. Mizrachi moved all in on the button, and his opponent looked him up.

Mizrachi: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}
Opponent: {j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}

The {k-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop gave his opponent a world of outs, but the {7-Spades} and {3-Diamonds} came safely to double the Grinder to 9,000.

Charder Tanks His Way to Showdown

Ryan D'Angelo raised to 1,000, and two players called behind him. Then Christian Harder potted to 5,500 in the big blind. Only D'Angelo called. The flop fell {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}, and Harder went into the tank. D'Angelo closed his eyes and got a few minutes of sleep in before Harder decided to check. D'Angelo checked behind, and on to the {8-Spades} turn. Two more deliberate checks followed the turn, and two more came after the {2-Spades} river. Charder turned over {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and took the pot with his aces. He's up to 42,000 after the lengthy hand, while D'Angelo slipped to 22,000 but picked up some sleep.

Oberstad Looking Good

Annette Obrestad took down a huge pot when she got it all in with {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}. She was less than a favorite preflop against kings, but the board fell a favorable {7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}. Her ten-high flush was enough to take it down and boost her stack to 38,000.

Forrest Donates to Peachy

Ted Forrest checked the {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts} board over to Eric Liu, who bet 2,000. Forrest called him, then checked again after the river brought the {k-Hearts}. Liu value bet 4,500, and after two minutes in the tank, Forrest paid him off. Liu tabled {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for kings full of tens, good enough to earn both the pot and a grimace from Forrest. Liu is up to 35,000 while Forrest slipped to 27,000.

Ayaz Knocks Out Kitai

Davidi Kitai bet 2,400 after a raised flop fell {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. Ayaz Mahmood potted for enough to put Kitai all in, and Davidi called to put himself at risk.

Kitai: {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Mahmood: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}

Kitai wasn't looking exactly strong against Mahmood's flopped straight and king-high flush draw. The board brought running aces to give Ayaz aces full of kings with which to bust Kitai. Mahmood is up to 37,000.
