Schwartz Gets It In

Noah Schwartz raised to 125 preflop, and another player reraised to 450. Schwartz four-bet all in for 1,225 total, and his opponent looked him up.

Schwartz: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{7-Spades}
Opponent: {8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts}

The board came {j-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}, and Schwartz doubled to 2,500 plus three rebuy chips.

Chen 2.0

Bill Chen potted a {k-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop, and his opponent repotted. Chen called all in with {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{8-Spades}{5-Clubs} for middle set. The other player showed {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}, but his straight draw didn't get there, and Chen doubled up to 6,600. He also has all three of his rebuy chips left.

Stacked Field

Other scary tables we've found include:

Noah Schwartz, new double-bracelet winner Frank Kassela, Bakes, Tom Dwan, Annie Duke, and Rino Mathis

Burt Boutin, Markus Golser, Daniel Negreanu, and Ben Kang

Christian Harder, JC Tran, and Rob Hollink

Scott Clements, Lex Velhuis, Shaun Deeb, and Felipe Ramos, who final tabled this event last year

Antoine Saout, Chad Brown, and Tom Marchese

Ashton Griffin, Steve Gross, Peter Jetten (another player who final tabled this event in 2009), Davidi Kitai, and Ayaz Mahmood

Daniel Alaei, Danny Wong, Joe Serock, and Daniel Makowsky

Double Up for DW

David Williams was involved in a five-way pot when we showed up on a {k-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop. Both blinds checked, and Williams bet 400. That folded out everyone but the small blind, who paid to see the {q-Clubs} come on the turn. The small blind checked again, and Williams bet 1,200. Then his opponent check-raised the pot, and Williams called all in.

Williams: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Opponent: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades}

The {4-Diamonds} river didn't change anything, and Williams' top set stacked the player with bottom set. Williams is up to 5,500 and still has all three of his rebuy chips.
