Nicholas Mitchell Eliminated in 14th Place ($26,544)

Nicolas Mitchell - 14th place
Nicolas Mitchell - 14th place

From middle position, Frank Rusnak raised to 28,000 and Nicholas Mitchell three-bet to 72,000 from the big blind. Rusnak called to take a flop.

It came out {2-Clubs} {2-Spades} {10-Hearts}, and Mitchell led out with a follow-up bet of 75,000. Rusnak flatted, but things would not be so friendly on the {7-Diamonds} turn. When Mitchell fired another 120,000 at the pot, Rusnak moved all in, and Mitchell quickly called off his last 190,000 to put himself at risk. The news was no good:

Rusnak: {K-Diamonds} {K-Hearts}
Mitchell: {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs}

Oof.

The river {10-Clubs} was not the two-out queen Mitchell was looking for, and he has been eliminated in 14th place. On the flip side, that knockout pot moves Rusnak all the way up to 940,000.
