Christophe Benzimra Eliminated in 13th Place ($26,544)

There's been one last elimination to end the night. Christophe Benzimra was all in pre-flop for 120,000 and called by Tommy Vedes. Benzimra didn't have much with {j-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, and it got even worse when Vedes turned over a dominating hand, {a-Spades}{9-Spades}. Vedes flopped a flush draw, {10-Spades}{6-Spades}{8-Clubs}, to take away one of Benzimra's outs, but Benzimra also flopped a straight draw. None of the draws came in as the turn and river came {8-Diamonds} and {9-Diamonds} to give each player two pair, nines and eights. Vedes' ace kicker played to take down the pot and send Benzimra home just a little bit earlier than everyone else.
