Frank Kassela Cripples Barry Greenstein, Wins 1.1 Million Pot

POY, baby!
POY, baby!

Barry Greenstein was just crippled by Frank Kassela in what is so far, the largest pot of the tournament.

Kassela opened for 25,000 from the button. Greenstein raised to 60,000 from the big blind and Kassela called.

The flop came down {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{5-Spades}. Greenstein bet 85,000, Kassela moved all-in for 498,000 and Greenstein called.

Kassela {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Greenstein {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}

Kassela was looking for a diamond to make the nut flush and snap off Greenstein's aces. The turn card didn't do it, the {Q-Spades} falling, but the {6-Diamonds} hit the river and Kassela jumped back in his seat like he'd just been electrocuted. He raked in the 1,145,000 pot, leaving Greenstein with only 42,000.
